The fine art of working in the woodshed!
The heft and feel of a well-worn handle,
The sight of shavings that curl from a blade;
The logs in the woodpile,
the sentiment of huge
beams in an old-fashioned house;
The smell of fresh cut timber
and the pungent fragrance of burning leaves;
The crackle of kindling
and the hiss of burning logs.
Abundant to all the needs of man...
How poor the world would be
Without wood.

I have always loved wood. I grew up hiking, camping, and hunting in the woods of rural Western New York. It is there I developed a love for wood - what Eric Sloan describes as -
'a reverence for wood.'
I now live near Black Mountain, North Carolina and I find the forests of the Blue Ridge Mountains similar to the woods of my youth. Through woodworking, I have found a deep, indescribable joy in creating -- from what was created -- in the woods.
Each piece I make is one of a kind; I do not mass-produce anything.. So everything I make is uniquely yours. Please feel free to visit and if you have any questions please don't hesitate to contact me! Thanks for looking!
